Terms and Conditions

General Terms & Conditions

The term a "member" of Sofie" means someone who is entitled to attend events and to nominate others to attend events.  The basis upon which you are entitled to attend events as a member or through nomination by a sponsor may be subject to detailed rules which may be changed from time to time.  They will take effect when notified to you or when posted on this website.  The term "member" does not mean a member of the company limited by guarantee known as Witney Business Breakfast Limited.

Sponsors are entitled to the benefits specified in this website and otherwise as may be agreed from time to time in writing.  Upon placing your order you have entered into a contract with us for the period specified in the website and the fees paid during that period are non-refundable. Save for sponsorship contracts expressed to be for 3 years, you may cancel your contract at any time with one month's notice in advance in writing or by email. For sponsorship contracts expressed to be for 3 years the contract runs to the third anniversary.

Sofie may suspend or terminate any membership or sponsorship agreement at its discretion.  If it does so a refund will be made of any prepaid subscription by the sponsor or the member.  Where you book an event on-line you will generally have 14 days to cancel from the date of booking unless the event has taken place during that 14 day period.  We reserve the right to change the venue, format and speakers for any event.  If we are unable to hold an event for any reason we will either refund the cost of that event or (if you prefer) give you a credit to apply to another event.
